L-O-Cs BIO L-O-C is one of these extraordinary entertainers.Hailing from Tuscaloosa,al The product of a city commonly known as the “T-TOWN,” the perils of poverty nor even the threat of 10 YEARS behind bars could prevent what was meant to be. L-O-C has come out with five mixtapes,(Staccin Paper,Got Work?,All In One Nite,Illegal Transaction & LOL(Life Of Loc) “My success is not because of nothing that I’ve done. God has blessed me. I was meant to be seen as star,” says L-O-C. “I used to tell people I’m NOT a rapper or a street prophet BUT I’m a ghetto superstar.” Born into a single family household in Tuscaloosa, L-O-C came up like any other child of the ghetto. Surrounded by drugs, gangs and guns as soon as he stepped foot outside his front door as a child, young L-O-C faced the allure of breaking the law on a daily basis. “I came up like a lot of youth in a poverty-inflicted area, looking for love in all the wrong places,” L-O-C recalls. “It was a lot of crime in the town. And I imitated what I saw. I wanted to be like the guy with the money, the cars and the chains,MOSTLY the money.” What kept L-O-C on the straight and narrow were the wise words passed down from his parents. It was in his parents’ home that L-O-C started his own recording studio Mob Lounge Studio. Recording music as a way of channeling his anger, L-O-C sold his own mixtapes in school and around town. Everybody felt his music. “I always had a love for music,” L-O-C insists. “I always knew that music was my gift,my dad played lead guitar & bass but I didn’t take it seriously.” “I wasn’t serious about the music at the time, but the streets loved it,” says L-O-C. “I just didn’t take it seriously.” “People say jail gave me my focus but it didn’t. I been going to jail since I was 14 and it did nothing but made me CRAZIER ,” L-O-C insists. “This time when I went in, I picked up the WORD, developed a spiritual relationship with my Creator and came out with a different mindset.” With the streets standing with him, L-O-C is sure to revolutionizing rap music. Displaying a style that defies boundaries, he continues to give the world just a taste of what DIFFERENT. “My music is UNIQUE,” says L-O-C.I create different genres from pop,rock and roll to dark metal to soft rock to rap to country. I display so many styles. That’s why they love me.”
