My name is David Arthur Thompson, and as a child it never really occurred to me that writing would ever cross my path. As a child I’ve always had a knack for just dropping a line or two. But it never crossed my mind that I would ever be in this position of writing a book of lyrics in the sense. Growing up in Michigan, you would always have to untangle your way through out many situations, and make the best out of what seemed like a default time. And because this world throws many obstacles at you like the speed of light, you have no clear safe haven, no way of knowing when to start or stop at any point and time. Writing for me would be that safe haven, where the computer or pad becomes that one being that will listen, and not judge me for my mishaps or misfortunes. And yes, maybe at times, when I think that I cannot do this anymore, the blank page becomes my canvass, a spectrum for many of words that will arrive in this sense. As my readers glance at the many pages of content, I really want them to put their selves in this canvass of words, to dwell in the forest of thought, and end up as I was when this was complete, a great sense of reassurance. Because when it is all said and done, we all have a lot to say, it’s just who is really listening and paying close attention to the detail in which we display onto the canvas. Witch of us will be speaking in terms of from the heart of it all. My thoughts and feelings, heart and soul went in to the making of the full contents which are enclosed, so enjoy and keep an open mind
