The name is goldiesparkles born on the beautiful but small island of St. Thomas, an island known for its white beaches, crystal clear water and tourism. However beautiful the island, I grew up on rock city aka st thomas . it did not stop my love of singing because I started at the age of 6 in the bathroom mirror and as I got older I entered every talent show around. At age 11, I claimed my inde pendence and started working at Coki Point Beach as hair braider and singing waitress, to earn money for my family. And even though I worked, I continued to enter more and more talent shows, winning most of them. At the age of 16 I moved to New Jersey for a fresh start away from my island of st thomas. At the time I stopped singing and did not realize that I could not run away from my true first love. Now I’m ready to take my talent to the top & share my talent with everyone and take my career to the top. I have had some setbacks, losing my mother on December 14th, 2009 but I know she is my angel smiling down on me and my music. Since then, doors have been opening up for me personally and professionally. You see what we need to know is that with God there is no where to go but up. I feel that God gives you the tools to build your bridge to success. It is up to you to use your tools to gain your blessings. The choice is up to you.
